RGH brings over 35 years of experience providing engineering design, consulting and testing services, including geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, construction observation and testing, soils and materials testing, and special inspection services for both private development and public infrastructure projects. We have developed effective geotechnical and geologic solutions for hotels, resorts, wineries and private residences; utility pipelines, wastewater treatment plants, and transfer stations; roadway construction, rehabilitation, and replacement; and hospitals, schools, and residential and commercial developments, such as multi-dwelling apartments and affordable housing complexes.

- Geotechnical Engineering: Evaluations of, and recommendations for, deep and shallow foundations, retaining walls, dams and reservoirs, ground improvement, liquefiable soils, slope stability and landslides, rock mechanics, groundwater and drainage, and pavement design.
- Geologic Studies: Fault and landslide studies, forensic geology, and geologic hazard evaluation to meet the stringent requirements of the State of California, including Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zone studies, landslide assessment and analysis, emergency slope failure services, and liquefaction and densification analysis.
- Laboratory Testing Services: Comprehensive soils and materials testing laboratory certified by California Department of Transportation (Caltrans); American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Resource, formerly AMRL; Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL),a division of ASTM International; California Division of the State Architect (DSA); and United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
- Construction Services: RGH field personnel are certified by the American Concrete Institute as Field Testing Technicians and licensed to use nuclear density compaction testing equipment. Our field staff also includes personnel certified by Caltrans, DSA, the American Concrete Institute (ACI), and the International Council of Building Officials (ICBO).
