A Technical Expert

Mr. Mauntel has extensive experience providing engineering and environmental services to the waste industry. His background includes planning, design, regulatory permitting, and development and operational coordination of all types of waste disposal facilities, including landfills (both active and closed), transfer stations, recycling, composting facilities, and others.

His ongoing project work includes all phases of waste facility siting, planning, design, and construction through to end use. Mr. Mauntel also specializes in geotechnical engineering services. He supplied expert testimony for at a public meeting for permitting, remediation, and corrective action measures. He has additional expert services experience in solid waste engineering and landfill design; landfill siting, expansion, permitting, and compliance; construction quality assurance (CQA) and earthwork oversight; and geotechnical engineering and stability analysis.
