A Technical Expert
Dr. Botros is a Senior Hydrogeologist and Professional Engineer licensed in California with more than 19 years of experience. He specializes in groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling, vadose zone modeling, watershed hydrology, aquifer test analysis, hydrogeologic evaluations at mine sites, statistical and geostatistical analysis, and optimization and uncertainty assessment of hydrologic parameters and conceptual models. He has extensive experience with many groundwater and surface water modeling software programs, including MODFLOW, PRMS, GSFLOW, HYDRUS, MODPATH, MT3D, SEAWAT, PHT3D, and PEST. He also brings substantial experience in FORTRAN and MATLAB programming and routinely uses customized codes that aid in the development of groundwater and surface water models and in the post-processing of model results. Dr. Botros is also proficient in geographic information system (GIS) tools and frequently uses Leapfrog Software as a geologic model visualization tool.
