Neil Blandford, PG is a Principal Hydrologist with over 35 years of experience in quantitative hydrology and hydrogeology. He serves as GLA’s Hydrogeology Services Leader.
Contributions to the Science
Mr. Blandford has led numerous projects involving complex technical, regulatory and legal issues. He specializes in the identification, assessment and development of groundwater resources; design and installation of water supply and groundwater remediation well fields; investigation of brackish groundwater resources and seawater intrusion in coastal aquifers; site investigation where groundwater has been impacted by contaminants; permitting for water rights, aquifer storage and recovery (ASR); and environmental site investigation and closure. He has served as an expert witness in administrative hearings and trials regarding stream adjudication, water right applications, and water supply, water quality, and regulatory issues.
