GLA is supporting the New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department in the process of applying for regulatory primacy under the EPA Class VI program in order to oversee carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects.

GLA developed a comprehensive hydrogeologic subbasin site characterization and groundwater model that allowed BRC to quantify the historical, current, and future hydrogeologic conditions and chemical impacts and aid in potential future remedial decision making.

GLA's team developed a state-level Wildlife Corridor Action Plan to increase motorist safety while enhancing habitat connectivity for wildlife.
