GLA wholly owned subsidiary Summit Water Resources helped develop the City’s ASR program in 2000 and has guided expansion to become one of the largest in the Pacific Northwest, and also developed a management system that allows stormwater to be treated, stored, and recovered for various non-potable uses and streamflow enhancement.

GLA assisted the Carbon Containment Lab in exploring the potential for geologic sequestration of carbon dioxide in the Columbia River Basalt Group by identifying locations where a new source water well can be developed in close proximity to a carbon dioxide injection site.

GLA wholly owned subsidiary Summit Water Resources provided an innovative solution to use Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) as a water management tool to enhance streamflows, mitigate thermal impacts, and restore aquatic habitats. Additionally, we’ve assisted CWS to identify actions to manage a large water rights portfolio within the Tualatin Basin.
